Born on September 14, 1951 in Peoria the son of James Carrington and Mary Ellan McElderry.
Surviving are his son, Rodney (Bonita) Carrington of Creve Coeur; six grandchildren, Doryen T. Carrington, Keegan R. Carrington, Zoe Z. Zimmerman, Autumn M. Worley, Paris G. Carrington and Chesney S. Carrington.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Carrington; his mother and stepfather, Mary Ellan (James) Brooks; one daughter, Peggy Carrington and one brother, Roger L. Carrington.
He worked as a truck driver for Fort Transfer in Morton for 20 years.
