John Isaac Lippert

He was born on June 15, 1961 in Peoria, the son of Dorman and Margaret (Boggs) Lippert.

John worked in various departments for Lowes for 24 years. He enjoyed watching television, especially football and anything that included trivia. John was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Creve Coeur.

He is survived by his life partners, Lonny O’Bryant and Scott Hodges, both of East Peoria; one brother, Mike (Karol) Lippert of Misson, TX; three sisters, Millie Jackson of Morton, Cathy (David) Forden of East Peoria, Susie (Jim) Ackerman of Morton; several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded by his parents and brother-in-law, Vern Jackson.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 604 Groveland Street in Creve Coeur. There will be a visitation to talk with the family from 2 to 3 p.m. The service will begin at 3 p.m.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
