Judy May Whitby

Born March 31, 1950, she was the daughter of John D. and Mary (Jurdan) Stokes. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by one son, Will Walton; three brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are one son, John Walton, Sr. of Peoria; six grandchildren, Britany Walton, John Walton, Jr., Kaitlyn Walton, all of East Peoria, Brandon Bowen, Kayla Walton, both of Peoria and Bryanna Bowen of Washington; fourteen great-grandchildren and one brother, Donnie Stokes of West Plains, Missouri.

Judy was a selfless person who had a spunky personality. She loved crocheting and watching cooking shows on television. She also had a love for birds, parrots in particular. She also was fond of her dog, Teddy.

Her visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Guidelines regarding social distancing and masks will apply. There will be no funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
