

Born January 23, 1943 in Maysville, Kentucky to Harry Thomas and Maybelle (Kerns) Collins, he married Lucy M. Boling in 1967 in Marion, Indiana. She passed away. He also was preceded in death by parents; grandparents and one brother, Thomas Boling. Ken was raised by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Berlin Boling.
Surviving are his soulmate of 21 years, Sheron (Dickerson) Davis; one son, Gregory Wayne Boling of Peoria; one daughter, Tina Boling of North Carolina; three step-daughters, Angie Keayes of East Peoria, Tammy (Albert) Cheney of Green Valley and Jenny (Joshua) Ross of East Peoria; two step-sons, George Robertson of Marquette Heights and David Lovell of Peoria; seventeen grandchildren and one sister, Janet Osgood of Kentucky.
He had served in the United States Army.
Ken worked as a Pipefitter for 30 years, last working for Pipco. He was a retired member of UA Local Union 669. Ken had earned his apprenticeship degree from Penn State University.
Sports was his passion and he was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengal’s, Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed wintering in Florida for the past 17 years and enjoyed racing and going to the Daytona 500. He also was fond of motorcycles. Ken had the ability to fix anything and loved carpentry work.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. David Lovell will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
