

Born April 2, 1951 in Peoria to Chester and Harriet (Waters) Colvin, she married Dennis Davis on February 14, 1975 in Monmouth. He died April 19, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Steve Colvin and Roland Colvin.
Surviving are one daughter, Lori (Dan) Riggs of Hanna City; two sons, David Davis and Scott Davis of Bartonville; nine grandchildren, Emily (Darrin) Shernak of Creve Coeur, Kyle Davis of Washington, Dustin Davis of North Pekin, Austin Davis and Justin Davis, both of California, Tyler Davis of Washington, Andrew Riggs of Hanna City, Skylin Hutchinson of Pekin and Jaci Davis of East Peoria; three great-children, Kacen Davis, Rowyn Shernak and Jenna Davis; one sister, Glenda (Gary) Slater of Manito; her sister-in-law, Judy (Jerry) Campen of East Peoria; Larry (Marilyn) Davis of Bartonville; 11 nieces and nine nephews.
A homemaker, Linda loved volunteering in the gift shop at Wildlife Prairie Park. She also enjoyed fishing and taking walks around Wildlife Prairie Park. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her grandchildren. She was always there for them in any time of need. Linda was her grandson, Andrew’s biggest fan, she was at all his hockey games and practices, never missing any of them.
Her visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
