Linda M Harrison

She was born May 11, 1947 in Peoria to Robert and Augusta (Rech) Willis. She married Steven Eugene Harrison on July 17, 1971 in Peoria. He died May 11, 2026.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Willis; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Willis and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Surviving is one daughter, Stephanie (Shane) Boyle of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Peyton and Karly; one sister, Connie (Rod) Doyle of Easton; one brother, Scott (Sue) Willis of Washington and many nieces and nephews.

In her younger years, Linda worked at Sheridan Bank in Peoria. While her life goal since childhood was to be a mother, Linda worked as head cook at Parkview School, retiring in 2008.

Linda loved attending all events for her daughter and grandchildren. She also loved being outdoors tending to her flowers or going camping on the Illinois river. Linda's daughter learned kindness from her mother, as well as helping others, putting family above herself, and in general, how to be a good person.

Linda’s graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026 at La Salle Cemetery in Rome. Afterwards, a gathering celebrating Linda will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the North Pekin Amvets Post #169, 660 Radio City Drive in North Pekin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
