Margaret was born October 29, 1961 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Her parents, John and Mary Margaret (Gibson) Rembold preceded her in death.
Margaret married Ronald William Owen on October 27, 1988. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Shannon (Brian Thousand) Owen of Peoria; her step-children, William Owen of Chicago, Holly Nemeth of Chicopee, Massachusetts, Heather Owen of Peoria and Robert Owen of Peoria; four grandchildren; her sister, Marsie (Jason) Gale; her brother, John (Kristin) Rembold, Jr.; and her nieces and nephews, Ryan, Justin, Jordan, Kate, Reid and Rachel.
Margaret had worked as a dishwasher for several area restaurants including the Pleasant Hill Tea Room in East Peoria.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur is assisting the family with arrangements.
