He was born October 23, 1935 in Arenzville to Ruel and Irma (Long) Mullens. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Mullens.
Surviving are four daughters, Sylvia McNeely, Amanda Morey, Christina Rosencranz, and Jane Morton; four sons, Hector Cuevas, Eddie Cuevas, Ruben Cuevas, and Shilloh King; many grandchildren and lifelong friend, Sandy Underwood.
Brenda worked in the medical field as a nurse for many years.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, spending time with her family and grandchildren and the Hallmark Channel.
Her memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
