

Born July 11, 1989 in Peoria to Tad and Pamela (Colvin) Ayers, he married Maria Garcia on October 19, 2019 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother Pamela Ayers of Oswego; his father and step-mother, Tad and Robin Ayers of Creve Coeur; two children, Mason Ayers-Parks of Alabama and Macy Ayers of Lacon; three step-children, Ayla Allen, Rory Allen and Camden Allen; one brother, Matthew (Megan) Harrison of Oswego; one sister, Tasea Jurwich of Peoria; two step-brothers, Jake Rowe of Creve Coeur and Nick Rowe of Peoria and one step-sister, Amber Garrison of Pekin.
His grandparents preceded him inn death.
Michael was a 2007 graduate of Washington Community High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team.
He had worked as a roofer and carpenter for many years in the area.
A family man who loved the outdoors and traveling, Michael also enjoyed fishing and skateboarding.
Michael will be remembered as a free-spirited hippy.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Paul Trilikis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
