Michael James Walton

Mike is survived by the love of his life, Stephanie Walton, and many family and friends (who are like family) whom he loved dearly.

Mike was a proud truck driver for over 30 years and worked hard to provide a good life for his family.

Mike loved trout fishing in the mountains of East Tennessee, sitting around a campfire having a cold one with his camping family, listening to his Brother Dave and the rest of the Still Shine Band, card nights with friends, and Saturday Night Potluck and darts at the VFW. Most of all, he loved being a Papaw to his grandkids.

His graveside service will be at noon on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Fondulac Township Cemetery in East Peoria. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. A memorial potluck will be held after the service at the VFW Post 4835 in Creve Coeur. Please bring a dish or memory to share.
