Robert Lee Webb, Sr.

Born December 9, 1933 in Peoria to Clarence and Lena (Datone) Webb, he married Betty Burns. They later divorced. He then married Gladys Heady on March 13, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She died August 25, 2019 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Richard Webb and Brian Webb and two brothers, James Webb and Kenneth Webb.

Surviving are three sons, Dennis (Eva) Webb of Peoria, Robert (Diana) Webb, Jr. of Bartonville and Steven (Sherry) Webb of Kentucky and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert had worked as a machinist in East Peoria at Caterpillar, Inc. for 32 years before his retirement.

He enjoyed working on cars and watching NASCAR and dirt track racing.

His graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
