Sandra Kay Jackson

Sandra was born on July 29, 1953 in Peoria, Illinois, to Thomas Jack Andrews and Eleanor May (Thurman) Andrews.

Sandra's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, who were truly her world. She loved spending time with them, spoiling them whenever she could, and creating special memories they will cherish forever. She also enjoyed baking for family and friends and could often be found people-watching, one of her favorite pastimes.

She is survived by her son, David (Kathryn) Jackson of North Pekin; her three grandsons, Caleb, Landon, and Jack Jackson; her granddaughter, Skyler Jackson; her great-grandson, Jace Winner; an expected great-granddaughter, Shelby Kay, due in August; and her brother, Allan Andrews of Creve Coeur.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jack Andrews and Eleanor May Andrews, and her great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Marie Walker Jackson.

Sandra's family has arranged a memorial visitation to take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2026 at Bethel Memorial United Church of Christ in Creve Coeur. Inurnment will take place at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.

Cremation has been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.

Sandra will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, her kindness, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
