Wanda Lucille Evans

Born November 8, 1949, in Peoria to Frank and Helen (Fuller) Jones, she married Leonard Evans on April 24, 1977, in Creve Coeur. He passed away on November 16, 2024. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are three children, Christine (Alex) VonWernich of Harmony, Florida, Amy (Jeff Wilson) Evans of Deltona, Florida, and Karen Blythe of Creve Coeur; four grandchildren, twins, Lucas and Emma VonWernich, Allyson Wilson, Austen Blythe; three sisters, Barb (Butch) Knollenberg of Spring Bay, Diana (Kenneth) Sneed of Herrin and Carol (Jerry) Gilham of Mountain Home, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, Wanda loved taking care of and spending time with her family and her dog, Sam.

She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, working on jigsaw puzzles, playing online games and cooking.

There are no scheduled services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
