Wilma Grace Waggoner

She was born on October 11, 1939 in her home in Creve Coeur, a daughter of William and Dora (Marteness) Remington.

Survived by her children, Michael (Martha) Waggoner of California, Cindy Waggoner of Creve Coeur, Chris Waggoner of Creve Coeur, Gary Waggoner of East Peoria, Lora Waggoner of Spring Valley and Lisa Edwards of Walnut; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Ramirez; granddaughter, Candace Ramirez; sister, Sandra Kay Herndon; brother, Robert Remington; two infant sisters and one infant brother.

Wilma was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her loving nature. Wilma always made sure that her family was able to receive presents for the holidays and birthdays no matter what age they might have been. One of her passions was taking pictures.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Pastor David Lynn will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
