Betty June Harris 81 of Hurricane, WV died Monday, September 1, 2014 at Levine and Dixon Hospice in Huntersville, NC. Betty was born June 12, 1933 in Tesla, WV the daughter of the late John and Mary McKown also preceding her in death was her husband Ronnie and brother Bob McKown. She graduated in 1952 from Dunbar High School. She is survived by son Bob Harris of Charlotte and Grandchildren R. C. and Savannah Harris and several nieces and nephews and cousins. A very special thanks to Mark and Yvonne and Devon Halk for all they have done. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Levine and Dixon Hospice 11900 Vanstory Dr. Huntersville, NC 28078. Services will be held Friday, September 5th 2014 at 2:00pm Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Rd. Cross Lanes, WV 25313. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
