

Beulah M. Lacy, 81 of Scott Depot passed away at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. She was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Harper and Minnie Harper Hunt. In addition to her parents, also preceding her in death and those whom she was so looking forward to a joyful reunion with was her daughter, Connie Lynn Voiles, brothers Paul Harper, Ronald Harper, step brother David Hunt, sister-in-law Phyllis Harper, Maxine Fredericksen. Beulah was the Vice-President of J.H.L. Masonry, Inc. Although her greatest joys came from being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her love, guidance and her fierce protection of those she loved will be greatly missed. “In every heart you touched, in every life you changed, in every thought you inspired your love lives on. Her love burns as an eternal flame, forever lighting the lives of those she has touched." As a family we were truly blessed and eternally thankful. Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, John, daughters Vicky and Steve Anderson of Saint Albans, Debbie and Mark McClanahan of Scott Depot. Sister, Janet Saunders of Ohio. Brothers, John and Roberta Harper of Red House, Ed Harper of Saint Albans, Sister-in-laws, Ruth Ann Harper of Scott Depot, Carol Harper of Citrus Springs, Florida and Jean Cooper of Scott Depot. Brother-in-law, Wes Fredericksen, of San Jose, California. Grandchildren Mike (Tiffany) Voiles, John Paul (Tonya) Phillips, Tony and Nichole Voiles. Great grandchildren Laura Fortson, Danielle and Haley Phillips, Dylan, Dalton and Brooklynn Voiles. They do wonderful work and are a very special organization. A very special thank you to Hospice Home Health Nurse Mark Withrow, whom in such a short time bought compassion and laughter into Mom's final days. We would also like to thank Dr. Elaine Moore and staff, for their knowledge and expertise through the years. Mom considered you not only her Doctor, but part of our family. As per her wishes, there will not be a funeral service. Interment will be in the Upper Mausoleum at Cunningham Memorial Park. Casdorph & Curry Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
