He was born October 22, 1943 in Charleston, the son of Robert and Mae Haynes Shinault. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Linda, son, Charles “Chuckie”, brother, Bobby and sisters, Shirley and Catherine.
Charles was employed with US Foodservice with over 28 years of service and then went to work for BJ Well Services for 9. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and tinkering with his “Hot Rod”. A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend that will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sons, Jamie (Julie), and Doug Shinault (Sadaria), all of Tornado, grandchildren, Jamie-Alyse, Chris, Matt, Chris Carter and Lindsey, Kristen, great grandchildren, Elliana, Hailey, Peyton, Ryan, Charlie, Gracelyn, Jacey, Jaylin, Willow, Easton, Brielle, Raelynn, Jhett, Memphis, and Jacelynn.
Celebration of Charles’s life will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Celebrant HR Whittington presiding.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
