Charlotte was a devoted wife to Robert Lewis for 47 cherished years. Together, they built a life and home for their daughters—Tammy, Sherry, and Kathy. Charlotte took great pride in her role as a mother, and her love extended to her grandchildren, Sara, RD, and three others, who were the light of her life. She poured her heart into every moment spent with them, sharing stories, laughter, and wisdom that will forever be cherished.
Throughout her life, Charlotte was known not only for her dedication to her family but also for her generous spirit and commitment to her neighbors. She delivered newspapers for many years in St. Albans, where she made countless friends and touched many lives with her kindness. Her helpful nature and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed exemplified her genuine care for those around her.
Charlotte enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, often found walking around her neighborhood, greeting friends with a warm smile and a friendly wave. She took pride in her home, enjoying the tasks of mowing the lawn and maintaining a welcoming environment for her family and friends. Her love for her home was surpassed only by her love for her family, which was the cornerstone of her existence.
In addition to her daughters and grandchildren, Charlotte is survived by her sisters: Darlene, Marjorie, Suzy, and Crystal and close cousin, Opal. The bonds of sisterhood were strong, and together they shared many cherished memories that will be held close to their hearts.
Charlotte's life was a testament to the beauty of living authentically and embracing every moment. She faced the challenges of life with grace and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her passing from natural causes leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to live on in the memories and stories shared by family and friends.
