Curtis E Thomas

He was born February 9, 1961 in Huntington, the son of James and Lillian Thomas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Betty Black.

Curtis was a hard-working man. He enjoyed working with his hands and was always ready for a new project. He loved spending time outdoors with friends and family. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Curtis was a friend to many, including neighbors near and far. He was proud to have hand built a beautiful camp on the Greenbrier River which was the place where countless memories were made with loved ones. He attended church at Scary Creek Church of God and was recently saved. He dearly loved his dogs Lily, Boo-Boo and Smokey as well as his grand-pups Clover, KiKi, Pepe and Piper. He will be sorely missed by his family and loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Louetta, daughter Tiffany Egnor (Jeff), of Hurricane, sister Ruby Gibson (Roger), of Fraziers Bottom, Shirley Black, of Culloden, brother in law Larry Tucker (Darrell), of Charleston, and a host of family and friends.

Celebration of Curtis’s Life will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Scary Creek Church of God with Pastor Peggy Larck officiating.
