He was a life long resident of South Charleston. He retired as a mechanic for the City of South Charleston, Public Works Deptartment.
He was an accomplished hunter, fisherman and marksman. A life-long tinkerer, repairman and self taught mechanic. He had a deep appreciation of music and taught himself to play several instruments.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who new him as "Big Danny".
He was preceeded in death by his wife, JoAnn (Brumley).
He is survived by his children, Sherry Edwards (Michael), Emmitte, Hazel (Chris) from Va, Danny (Heather) of Ripley and Ray of South Charleston; and 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Jack Eads, and sister Robin of Ohio.
Memorial service will be at 1:00pm Friday, September 21, 2018 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV, 25313.
Visitation will begin one hour before the service at the funeral home.
