

She was born March 8, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia the daughter of the late Charles A Snyder Sr and the late Vallie E Huffman.
She was also proceeded in death by her sister, Cynthia Flowers, brother Charlie Snyder, and great niece Nevaeh Faith Park.
She was a 1972 graduate of Hurricane high school she went on to be a Newport News Virginia Deputy Sheriff for more than 20 years. She loved her job and made many lifelong friends.
She loved to talk about being a deputy sheriff and tell her stories and always making people laugh. She would light up a room when she walked in. She always had a smile on her face.
She is survived by Sister Robin Hartberger (Barry) of Hampton, Virginia, brother Charles “Chuck” Snyder (Tammie) of Hurricane, West Virginia, Marie Stamper of Saint Albans, West Virginia.
Nieces and nephews T.J. Guarry (Lisa) of Newport News, Virginia, Tony Figueiredo of Yorktown, Virginia, Amy Park (Brandon) of Scott Depot, West Virginia, Richard Snyder (Devon) of Hurricane, West Virginia, Shane Snyder (Shanna) of Saint Albans, West Virginia, Kristen Snyder (Michael) of Statesville, North Carolina, Jessica Hager (Chad) of Alkol West Virginia, Telia Annan (Frank) of Charleston, West Virginia, Robert “Bobby” Flowers (Amy) of Saint Albans, West Virginia, Colton Flowers of Saint Albans, West Virginia.
Great nieces and nephews Joey Guarry, Jaden, Paislee, Myah & Shaelynn Park, Kinley Bing, Easton Ramsey, Cassius Barnett’s, Khloe & Oaklynn Snyder, Nick & Breanna Martin, Andrew Hinzman, Josiah, Aulani, Jiana Annan, Shaila & Sharlie Snyder, Andre Perdue, Killean Snyder, Myricle & Joshua & Kamari and many other extended family and friends.
She had a very special relationship with Aniela Baxter. She was a second mother to her since birth. Aniela she loves you more.

Celebration of Debra’s life will 12:00 P.M. Thursday August 20, 2026 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Boggess officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
