

Don worked at South Charleston Stamping plant until it's closure and then Autozone. His fur babies, Sugar, Honey, Trixie and Allie were so happy to spend time with him after his retirement. He graduated from St Albans High School in 1986 and he played drums in a band called The Black Tiger in his younger days. He was also rated the second best drummer in WV in 1986. He loved to play the drums and enjoyed driving and racing his loved Hot Rods.
Marie Stamper was Don's fiance and caretaker. They were married from 1995-2015. Don and Marie remained best friends after they parted and realized that their unbreakable love for one another had grown even stronger and would always be best friends and soulmates.
Don was preceded in death by his grandparents Willis (Poppie) and Betty Jo(mom) Eskins Stamper who adopted him. His father Donnie Eagle, Uncle Dan Stamper and father-in-law Charles Snyder Sr.
He is survived by his birth mother Donna Morris, sister and brothers: Allen Stamper (Rich), Casey Eagle and Carrie Eagle, Duran Morris, Christy Stamper; nieces and nephews, Meleia (Levi), Nicholas, Tiffany (Ryan) and Dan Stamper Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday 9, 2024 starting at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a celebration of Don's life starting at 7:00 p.m. at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Road Cross Lanes, WV 25313
