When I think of Edith, I think of the many Hancock gatherings that she always attended. When I walked into the kitchen where most gathered, I looked first for her smiling face. I was never disappointed. We will miss that smiling face more than we can say. Thank you, Tonya, for sharing your lovely mother with us. I know it is going to be hard, but there is no doubt that we will see her again on those streets of gold. God bless all of you. And please know that you are in our prayers always.

My sincere sympathy to Edith’s family and loved ones. We attended the Kanawha City Baptist Church together for many years and she always had a smile for everyone but she is now in the presence of her Lord and with her beloved husband Bob and she is glowing with happiness. She shall be missed but we will see her again one day.

Edith was one fine Christian lady I had the privilege of knowing. All ways laughing and ready to work in her church anytime anywhere. I will miss her but to be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord . And that is where she is .
