He was born July 6, 1944 in Jackson County, the son of Bert and Melva Carpenter who preceded him in death.
He retired from St. Francis Hospital with over 45 years of service. He was an avid car enthusiast.
He is survived by his son, Scot Carpenter (Zulayvic), of Youngsville, LA, daughter, Jodi Mondy (Brett), of Winfield, grandchildren, Kirk Mondy, Carlos Carpenter, and Samantha Carpenter, great grandson, Luka Carpenter, brother, Randall, sisters, Shirley Catalano, and Beverly Carpenter.
Graveside Service will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
