He was born March 7, 1949 in Logan, the son of Ishmael and Janice Wilson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents Shella and Vita Scites, and Denny and Della Wilson and brother Donald.
Edward attended South Charleston High School and South Charleston Auto Shop graduating in 1968. He worked at several auto dealership and the WV Dept of Highways. He was an avid outdoorsman, raising German Shepherd Puppies and going to the beach.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Beverly, daughter Ileene Wilson, brothers Ronald (Karen) and Jackie Wilson, nephew Andy, niece Jennie Nicole and several great nephews.
Celebration of Edward’s life will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home, Cross Lanes. He will be laid to rest in Yeager Cemetery, Midkiff.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
