She was born on October 4, 1939 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of James and Virginia Byrd. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William K. (Bill) Warner, her daughter and son-in-law Keith Ellen and David Campbell, and her sons, Jeff and Eric Warner.
Esther was the oldest of 16 siblings, 5 of whom are still with us: Angie O’dell, Jimmy Byrd, Pearl Byrd McWatters, Correnia Byrd Chapin, and Henry Byrd and she had two grandchildren: Alisha Warner and McKala Campbell, She also had 6 great grandchildren and was also very proud of the fact that she had a whole host of “unofficially adopted” great grandchildren.
Per her request, a private family graveside service will be held and the family requests that no flowers be sent.
