Gladys Green, of Nitro, passed away surrounded by family on December 25, 2021. Gladys was born October 21, 1925 to Charles Crispen and Martha Renee Vickers Stone. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Clyde Green, sisters, Nancy Ellen Collins, Jennie Thompson, Mattie Meadows, and Virginia Stone, brothers, Crispen Stone, and James Marvin Stone.
She is survived by daughter Barbara Green, son, Roger Meadows (Karen), grandchildren, Roger Meadows Jr., Karla Hermansdorfer (Tim), Ryan Meadows, great grandchildren, Cody, Mattison, Lauren, Bianca, Blake, Alayna, and Leila, caregiver, Sandie Garrett.
Celebration of Gladys will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home with Celebrant HR Whittington presiding. Burial will be in Stone Family Cemetery, Alkol.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 1 until time of service at the funeral home.
