Guy M. Mallett, 85, of Charleston, WV, passed away July 21, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House West following a long illness. He was born in Kanawha, County, WV, a son of the late Albro and Lucy Mallett. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Union Carbide. He was a member of Twin City Bible Church in Nitro, WV. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Mallett; his sister, Lois J. Woods; his son Steve Mallett and his wife, Susan; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Mallett; his grandson, Justin A. Mallett; and his brother, Jerry Mallett. Services will be held on Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV with Pastor Scott Bandy officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
