She was born April 16, 1937 in St. Albans to the late Everett and Juanita Campbell. Helen was
a homemaker, loved to quilt, garden, work in her flowers, and spend time with her family.
Helen is survived by daughters Barbara Hubbard (James) and Lisa Smith, granddaughter
Elizabeth Barnes (Chris), Grandson Jimmy Hubbard, great granddaughters Madison Barnes
and Emma Hubbard. Sisters Janet Shingler, Sally Murphy, Laura Pauley and her dog Chloe.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry W. Smith, sister Linda Shoemaker and
brother Dean Campbell.
Helen never left home during her illness. She was cared for by daughter Barbara and
granddaughter Beth.
Celebration of Helen’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 9, 2018 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home with Celebrant HR Whittington presiding.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral.
