

Herbert Franklin Redmon Jr. December 6, 1960 – October 19, 2025 Herbert Franklin Redmon Jr., 64, of Poca, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Born to the late Herbert F Redmon Sr. And Evelyn (Wertz) Redmon on December 6, 1960, in Pensacola, Florida, he spent most of his life in West Virginia, where he built a life defined by hard work, resilience, and a love for good times shared with family and friends. A skilled auto painter, Herb took great pride in his craft and was known for his dedication and attention to detail. He loved spending his free time fishing, watching NASCAR, and working on cars. He was the proud father of Ashley N. Fluty of Russell, KY. He was loved by his three grandchildren: Noah, Lily, and Mia. He is survived by his siblings William (Bill) Redmon of South Charleston, Susan Clark of Loudendale, Lisa Ray and husband Donald, of Pearisburg, Va. , and David Redmon and wife Rhonda, of Mineral Wells. They were not only his siblings but also his lifelong friends. The family would like to give a special thank-you to Herb’s dear friends who stood by him and supported him during his illness—especially his friend, Jeff. Your kindness and friendship meant the world to him and to his family. Herb will be remembered for his resilience, his hardworking spirit, his sense of humor, and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Celebration of Herberts life will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 27, 2025 at Tyler Mt Funeral Home.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 10 until time of service at the funeral home.
