
Jack Guindell Reynolds, 82, of St. Albans, passed away Monday August 3, 2015 after a long illness. He was born in Tarrant County, Texas, on February 9, 1933, the son of Otto and Lorena Reynolds. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life, Catherine Louise “Cathy” Foley Reynolds. Jack joined the Marines where he was an expert rifleman. He moved his family from Duarte, California to St. Albans, West Virginia to work for Kanawha Manufacturing as a Sales Engineer. He worked there from 1997 until his retirement in 2002. Jack spent his retirement visiting family, building airplane models, cheering on the Mountaineers and feeding the various wildlife that visited him in his yard…..deer, ducks and hummingbirds. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Rapport and her husband, Dan Martin, of Tornado; son, David Reynolds and his wife, LeAnne, of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, CeeCee Martin, of Tornado, Grace Reynolds, and Jack Reynolds, both of Columbia, SC, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jack’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with HR Whittington as Celebrant. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
