She was born May 4, 1964 in Columbus, OH, the daughter of Joseph and Janice Alexander Asbury. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Sayre, and brother Joseph Asbury.
Jodie’s passion in life was being a mother. She mother several kids from her brothers and sisters right down to her grandkids.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 20 years, Gregory, son, Chris Asbury (Christy), daughters, Jessica Bennett (Jamie), Morgan Lewis (Austin), and Meagan Skelton, 15 grandchildren, sister, Kim Clendenin (Butch), brothers, Dickie Asbury (Kelly), and Kevin Asbury, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Jodie’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Loudin officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
