April 13, 1940 - January 14, 2023
Our Beloved wife, mother and grandmother left this earth to be with her adoring husband, Roy Massey Jr., and her beautiful daughter, Amy Massey McClanahan Norvell. She met Roy in Austin, Texas, and married March 1st, 1958. They moved to West Virginia and raised their family of four children. She was dedicated to Christ and the church. Joyce was a self-taught seamstress, who expertly made many beautiful garments for her daughters. She leaves behind many who loved and cherished her; Her sons Roy C. Massey Ⅲ, Mark Massey, and her daughter & her husband Lisa and Jeff Coche`. Her dearly loved grandchildren include Roy ‘Cliff’ Massey. Chelsea Massey, Hallie Massey, Kaitlin Massey, Sophia Coche`, Chase Parker Coche`, Brittany Thompson, Mark Corey Massey, Kyle Massey, Nicole Karnes, Mary Norvell, Molly Norvell, as well as many great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends.
