Joyce was born February 14, 1958 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kassie Townsend; grandson, Dakota Townsend; and a sister, Evelyn Massey.
Left to cherish her memory are loving husband, Butch Townsend at home; children, Joshua Townsend, Nick Townsend, Amanda Townsend, and Isaiah Townsend; brothers, Kenny McMasters, Russell Shreve, and David McMasters; 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren; and her dog, Boo Boo.
Service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes. Burial will following Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
