Lois Madeline Powell, age 97, of Nitro, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Raymond H and Ollie V Osborne of Ansted. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Edwilda Clemens, Helen Statton, Winifred McCoy and her brother Ray Kyle Osborne.
She is survived by her brother Ralph H Osborne; daughters Catherine Canterbury and Beverly Correal; four grandchildren Nikki Domer (Matt), Eric Canterbury (Regina), Patrick Correal, Michael Correal (Riki); five great grandchildren Cheyton Canterbury, Lee Domer, Ryan Domer, Michael Correal Jr., Alexandra Correal, one great great granddaughter, Lindy Domer; nieces and nephews.
And with honoring her wishes, a private graveside gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
