He was born March 17, 1952 in Jackson County, the son of Lovell and Ruth Haynes, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Carolyn Rhodes, Teresa Haynes Skarina, brothers, Jim Haynes, Tom Haynes, Randy Haynes, David Boggess, and Terry Boggess.
Lovell was retired from Pepsi after 35 years of service. He was an avid sports fan especially WVU and Nitro High. He was a member of Employers Teamsters Local Union 175. Lovell was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley Mae, daughters, Michelle Washington (Jimmy), of Poca, Crystal Haynes, of Nitro, grandsons, Dustin Washington (Katie), of Poca, and Dakotah Lawrence, of Nitro, brothers, Larry Haynes, Lenny Haynes, Joey Boggess, sister, Sandy Kirk and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Lovell’s life will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 29, 2022 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Rev. John Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
