

He was born February 9, 1941 in St Albans, the son of Sewell and Enola Russell Arbaugh. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Gerald, Larry and Gary Arbaugh.
He was retired from AEP after 27 years of service. Franklin was a US Navy Veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was of the Church of God faith. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Janet, children, Dwayne Arbaugh (Melinda), Lena Arbaugh, David Arbaugh, Trena Kohler (Bryan), Teresa Bethel (Jayson), 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, step children, David Bonnett, Kathy Thaxton, and Tim Bonnett, 3 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, sisters, June Harris, Betty Sue Baker (Denver), Janice Marthin (Tom), Marilyn Elliott (Larry), Lorena Boggess (Frank), Rosalena Arbaugh, and brothers, Daniel Arbaugh (Lynn), and Jerry Arbaugh (Mary Jane).
Celebration of Franklin’s life will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Arbaugh officiating. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St Albans with military graveside rites conducted by St Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
