

Lucy Pituitrin Torman, 94, of St. Albans, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014. She was born September 4, 1920, in Scott Depot, a daughter of John and Emma Hoffman Ashworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Torman. Lucy retired from K-Mart in St. Albans after 13 years service. She was a member of Pleasant View Church of God and attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, flowers, gardening and cooking. A loving mother, grandmother and friend that will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her children, Donald Torman and his wife, Emily, of Hurricane, Virginia Roberts and her husband, Bobby, of Hamlin, Deloris Wood and her husband, Kermit, of Hurricane, and Deborah Romine and her husband, Michael, of Hurricane, grandchildren, Kimberly Torman Parsons, Teresa Torman Persinger, Margie Roberts Whitt, Bobbie Jo Wood Carpenter, Joseph Wood, Nancy Roberts Eplin, Eric Torman, David Romine, and Tracey Romine Risner; and six great-grandchildren. Celebration of Lucy’s life will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 8, at Casdoprh & Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hager and Pastor John White officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Gathering of family and friends will be Monday from noon until time of service. The family would thank Dr. Jeffrey Trump MD and staff at Thomas Memorial Hospital PCU for outstanding care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care, Charleston, WV.
