Martha L. Redden Stevens passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born in Raleigh County on Feb. 26, 1935 and was the daughter of Larry and Mae Redden. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jake, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Martha was a school cook in Kanawha County where she retired after 26 years of service.
She is survived by her son Alan Stevens (Fonda), of Cross Lanes, granddaughter Brandi Stevens, of White Sulphur Springs, sister Shirley Russell (Charles), of Sharon, and Joy Lou Johnson, of Chicago, IL, and a host of other relatives and friends.
And in honoring her wishes there will be no services held.
