She was born on October 13, 1941, in Charles Town, the daughter of Daniel and Leta Grove Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Arthur Myers, Pauline Winland, Paul Myers and John Myers.
She was an avid gardener, she loved the outdoors, she was a home maker. She loved to hike, entertain family, and she was a student of the Bible. She faithfully attended the Ripley Seventh Day Adventist church.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Rodney, sons Tim Luttrell (Lori), of Charleston, and David Luttrell (Mya), of Sissonville, grandchildren Trystan and Bella Luttrell, and sister Sarah Smith, of New Market, VA, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Mary’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday July 16, 2026, at Berea Seventh Day Adventist Church, 216 Highland Ave, South Charleston with Pastor Sterling Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
