Mildred Ann Oxley, 79, of St. Albans, passed away at home on Friday, August 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Flora Hodges Ellis; her husband, Roscoe E. Oxley; son, Roscoe, Jr.; daughter, Angela Oxley; and grandson, Charles Hubbard, Jr. Mildred was a lifelong resident of St. Albans and a homemaker. She is survived by son, David Oxley of St. Albans; daughters, Patricia Manning, Connie Wright and Terry Oxley, all of St. Albans, and Robin (Doug) Hinnerichs of Dunbar; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. A celebration of Mildred’s life will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with Youth Pastor, Josh Free officiating. Burial will follow the service in Trace Fork Cemetery, Lincoln County. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thank you to her doctors, Hospice and her daughter, Terry Oxley, for her care these last few months.
