Norma Frances Johnston, 84, of Charleston, WV, passed away September 8, 2014. She was born on May 12, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry and Frances Oliver Johnston. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Dana "Shorty" Johnston. Norma is survived by three nieces, Jacklyn Robinson, Dawnetti Johnston, and Tammy Owen; three nephews, Paul Johnston, Doug Johnston, and Tom Johnston; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Norma loved animals, especially kittens. She was an avid bowler in the Kanawha Valley for many years. She had a very outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Celebrant H.R. Whittington. Interment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
