Norman Derrick Thomas

Norman was born September 24, 1967 to Patricia Ann Malone and Titus Thomas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers Titus Thomas III and James (Jimi) Thomas, step father Otis C. Malone and brother in law Jon Green.

Norman was educated in Kanawha County Schools and worked several jobs throughout the county. Norman shared a deep passion for football and traveling. He participated in youth football league throughout the community, and has traveled to a few destinations, such as Atlanta, GA, Jacksonville, FL, Cleveland, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA, just to name a few. Norman was well loved for his family, infectious laugh, and brilliant sense of humor and generous nature and willingness to help anyone in need. To his family he was not just a brother but a lifelong friend, a protector and a source fof countless memories.

He leaves to cherish his memories are his brothers and sisters, Cheryl Green, Irvin "Earl" Thomas, Robert "Bobby" Thomas, Karen "Kandy" Cooper, of Atlanta, GA, Marvin "Mark" Thomas, Valerie "Tinka" Thomas, Edna Green, Cyndy Heard, of New Haven, CT, Ruth Crosby, Michael Thomas, of Jersey City, NJ, TOnay Thomas-Clark, Kimberly Thomas, of Edgemoor, SC, Jacquelyn Thomas, Michelle Thomas along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
