I have been a customer for 3 years at the Nitro Dollar General. That's how long I have known Peggy. She always had a BIG SMILE on her face no matter what if I was having trouble finding something and she was there which most times she was lol I would joke with her by asking Peggy do have a cot in the back and she would laugh and say no but I need one lol. she would take the time to help me find what ever it was I was looking for. If there weren't any customers in line and she had a min we would just talk about our family's the weather and just any thing. She was such a loving friendly lady and I'm in there just about every other day, I was in shock when my sister in law told me she had passed still cant believe it's our Peggy from Nitro Dollar General I'm going to miss her so so so much. Dollar General won't be the same. Peggy was the most out going employee there. Love and miss you Peggy. R.I.P. SWEET ANGEL.

I loved the long talks we would share about daily life, and our love for Noah and Brooke an the funny times they would give us to share. You was such a wonderful hard working soul and I know heaven has a beautiful cloud for you to rest upon. You will be dearly missed and are loved here in life by so many people. You truly was a angel on earth. I am truly blessed in the fact I got to call you my friend.

Peggy has been a part of the Huffman family for many years and her big smile will truly be missed. Every time I ran into her she would update me on a years worth of activity in 15 minutes haha! Peggy loved her children and grandchildren and only wanted the best for them. To Andy, Noah and Hope, we are so sorry for your loss and hope you can find peace in the coming days.

Peggy was always a happy woman who I never saw without a smile. She was like a mother to me and was always willing to help me out whenever I needed it. I worked with her at Dollar General and she always made work fun. I will miss her dearly. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel and I know Nitro will not be the same without her.
