Priscilla Ann Jarrell, 75, of Charleston, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on March 17, 2024, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Priscilla graduated from Stonewall High School and went on to work retail her entire life while raising her children and, eventually, helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Priscilla is preceded in death by her father Walter Saunders, her special grandmother, Myrtle Saunders, and lifelong friends, Angela Little and Ada Harper.
She is survived by her mother, Alma Alberta Saunders; husband of 50 years, Ronald Jarrell; three loving children, Dreama (Scott Royalty) McCormick, Donald (Chantil) McCormick, and Kimberly (Jason) Bausley; her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Shannon (Matthew) Lore, Zachary Love, Dalton McCormick, Xavier Bausley, Garrett McCormick, and Elijah Bausley; and great-grandchildren Madilyn Lore, Sawyer Lore, Colt Love, and Lincoln Love. She also leaves behind her siblings Bill (Sandy) Saunders, Linda Toney, Michael (Barbara) Saunders, Debbie (Frank) Whittington, Pam (Jim) Summers, John (Debbie) Saunders, and David (Terry) Saunders.
Priscilla found the most happiness spending time with her family. Her sense of humor and infectious laugh could brighten anyone’s day. Her love for her family was unmatched. She was always willing to offer a listening ear, comforting reassurance, and her lap, that was always open to her children and grandchildren, no matter their age or size.
Celebration of Priscilla’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 22, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Pastor Shelly Bausley officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
