Rachel H. Dawson, 85 of Glasgow WV, formerly of Cross Lanes, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 6th 2015. She was born March 16, 1930 a daughter of the late Red and Goldie Hamilton Breeden of Cedar Grove. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Dawson, son, Danny Lee Dawson, brothers, James, Harvey, Carl and Cecil Breeden and a sister, Kat Holdren. She is survived by her children, Dennis Dawson and wife Penny, Terry Dawson and wife Sheri, Eddie Dawson, Kathy White, Lisa Hoffman and husband Mike, and Jody Dawson. She is also survived by her sister, Wanda Smoot and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Living nursing home, Glasgow WV for the care and respect that they provided to their mother over the past few years, especially Halley, Stacey and Dr. Jonathan Lilly and also Hospice Care for the services they provided. Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, May 8th 2015 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Rd., Cross Lanes, WV 25313. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
