Clarice "Rae" Jarvis-Jones, 88, of St Albans, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2024. She was born March 2, 1936 in Parsons,WV a daughter of Clarence and Imogene Jarvis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by James Peter Jones, brothers, Errol and Gary Jarvis, and sister Margaret Kendrick.
Rae was a retired secretary having worked at Maranatha Fellowship in St Albans and Community Church of Hurricane where she attended. She was an avid gardener and loved feeding the birds. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children James Alan "Jim" Jones (Sandy), Alison R. Fisher (Robert), and Jeffrey Jones, grandsons, Adam Fisher, and Aaron Fisher, sisters Sharon Bush (Ron), Luanna Jones, Linda Arthur (David), Marlena Melkus, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Celebration of Clarice's life will be at 1:00 p.m. at Tyler Mountain Funeral home with Pastor David Bess officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
