Bob was preceded in death by his father, Roy Corey and his mother, Nelma Corey.
He leaves his loving wife of 58 glorious years, Frances Corey and his children, Todd Corey (Joanna Corey) Granddaughter Holly Corey, Richard Corey (Jeremy Nelson), Susan Brown (Randy Brown).
Born in 1932 in Mount Claire, NJ, Bob was raised in an athletic family. He attended Colgate University. During his time at Colgate he sang with the Colgate 13 and travelled all over the United States even performing on the TV show Chance of a Lifetime. In 1953, he served in Korea as a SP3 Army Corporal. Following the military he continued his education at Syracuse University where he lettered on the golf team and graduated in 1953. Bob, along with his father Roy were avid golfers and won several father and son tournaments. In 1959 he started his career with CNA Insurance. In 1975, Bob and his family moved to Cross Lanes where he worked as the Risk and Insurance Manager for the State of WV. He retired from the State in 1992 and remained in Cross Lanes. A private celebration will be held in his honor.
