Rocky was born November 23, 1981 in Charleston to Joyce (Parsons) White and the late Roger Franklin Edens.
Left behind to mourn are his mother, Joyce, and stepdad, James White of Rand; sister, Pamela Parsons of Charleston; brother, Jerry Edens; special Aunt, and caregiver, Hildia Parsons of Charleston; aunt, Kathern Flowers (Brian) of Rand; uncles, Larry Parsons of Charleston, and Edward Parsons of Belpre, Ohio; nieces, Alexandrea Parsons of Charleston, Caprea Parsons of North Carolina, and Malliyah Stinson of Rand; nephews, Gibreal Powell of Charleston, and JaHeim Parsons of Rand; and 3 special boys he called his own, D.J., Logan, and Andrew.
In addition to his father, Rocky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lewis Emmitt and Maxine (Siders) Edens; maternal grandparents, Oshel and Mary Sue (Botkin) Parsons; aunts, Doris Snyder, Angela Corey, and Bernice Gay Parsons.
Rocky was a Volunteer Fireman for many years at Rand Volunteer Fire Department. He last worked for Hutches Wrecker Service, and attended Dupont Middle School.
