Sheila Denise Brewer

Sheila “Denise” Brewer, 64 of St. Albans passed away November 7, 2017. She was born June 20, 1953 in Ypsilanti, Michigan and was a daughter of the late Arlan R. “Dick” and Jonnie (Lollar) Ash. Denise was a 1972 graduate of St. Albans High School and was retired from Kanawha Valley Advertising. She was a member of Washington Street Church of Christ, St. Albans. Denise is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, David Eugene Brewer; second-mother, Mary Ash; sisters, Sadaria (Doug) Shinault, Diania (Louie) Dunlap, Annette (Warren) Burns and Cathy (John) Linville; brothers, Mark Ash and Mike (Jackie) Lekas, all of Tornado and brother, Scott Ash of Teays Valley; nieces and nephews, Tony (Shannon) Dunlap, Kista (Bill) Whitney, Corey (Jessie) Lekas, Josh Burns, Hannah Burns, Tiffany Fridley, Chris Carter and Lindsey (Josh) Cadle; and 12 great-nieces and nephews. A celebration of Denise’s life will be 11:30 a.m., November 11, 2017 at Washington Street Church of Christ, St. Albans with Minister Eddie Cooper officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 10th at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans.
